If your water temperature is around or below 50 degrees F (10 degrees C), regular beneficial bacteria won't work very well. You need a formula specifically designed to work at colder temperatures. Aquascape designed this bacteria to do exactly that. It contains 7 strains of beneficial bacteria, concentrated to 1.5 billion CFU per ounce along with vitamin B and marigold.
