Aquascape's EcoBlast:  Algae Spot Treatment EcoBlast is another super popular water treatment from Aquascape.  It's great to use as a spot treatment for algae growing on rocks, in your stream, or on waterfalls. The best way to use it is to sprinkle it directly onto the area (i.e. right on the algae) you want to clean up. If that area happens to be in a spot with lots of water flow, it can help to temporarily turn off your pump to let the EcoBlast do it's work on the algae before the water flushes it away (especially if the algae is particularly thick). 30-40 minutes is plenty of time for this.
